BBCM Foundation is gearing up to celebrate its 25th Black & Blue Festival from October 7 to 13. This year’s main event will take place at a spectacular new venue for the BBCM, the Pierre Charbonneau Amphitheater (located in the Olympic Park at 3000 Viau Street) on Sunday, October 11, from 10 pm to 10 am the following morning. We celebrate the theme “Red Light District Montreal”, an homage to Montreal’s reputation as the “queen of entertainment and nightlife” for several decades. The 2015 Black & Blue is inspired by burlesque variety shows, honouring the glamour, sensuality and everything that has to do with “sexy”. The tickets are selling fast for this year’s main event, so don’t wait to buy your ticket! The venue has limited capacity! Don’t miss the chance to party to the sounds of Paolo Rocco & Jay London (Montreal), Morabito (New York), The Cube Guys (Italy), Wally Lopez (Spain), Mark Anthony (Montreal), Charles Poulin (Montreal), Robert de la.. Gauthier (Montreal), Luc Raymond (Montreal), Stephen Wallace (Montreal) and Stéfane Lippé (Montreal). Also, two main performances will be featured: “Burlesque-moi!” and “Flag & Dance” with burlesque performer Marie Doroftei and the BBCM dancers, directed by Yanick Daigle. The BBCM is also extremely proud to present a special performance with three divas: Lulu Hughes, Kim Richardson and Stéphane Moraille. The tickets are available on bbcm.org.
