2018 THEME: CHROME
What would be a special Black & Blue outfit without some stylish and shiny accessories? That’s exactly the inspiration that guided the BBCM team to select the theme for this 28th edition of the festival, an amusing theme that offers infinite possibilities. Chrome refers to more than the sleekness and nobility of metal. It also represents a universal material that gives a sexy glam look to the top disco clubs on the planet. And it’s in that spirit that our artistic and production designers will plan for blazing visual effects (including, of course, multiple mirror balls!) to please all Black & Blue party-goers, accompanied by the exhilarating beats of our guest DJs. Ready. Set. Chrome!
BACK TO THE SPECTACULAR MTELUS (CLUB METROPOLIS)
For the 28th edition of the Black & Blue, the BBCM team has decided to go back to its roots for the main event. Conveniently located on Ste-Catherine Street in very close proximity to the gay village, the MTELUS (aka Club Metropolis) is a genuine temple of music, it has hosted the biggest artists from home and abroad. Furthermore, the BBCM previously held some of its most memorable events there: Wild & Wet, Hot & Dry, Military Ball and even the main event of the Black & Blue. With its majestic architecture and state-of-the art technical facilities, partygoers will benefit from a spectacular multi-sensory experience. And with its second room, the Savoy lounge, our VIP guests will be able to discover an additional unique atmosphere. Let the party begin!
The BBCM Foundation wants to warmly thank the following partners and sponsors for their long-lasting support, which makes the Festival a success (as of September 11th). AND WE’RE STILL LOOKING FOR NEW PARTNERS!
