The BBCM Foundation will present the Black & Blue Festival from October 8 to 14. Following the announcement of the official program of events in the last weeks, the organizing team still has more strings to its bow to make sure the main event on Sunday, October 12, will be a huge success and one of the top events to do this Fall in Montreal.
To this end, the BBCM is proud to partner with Sennheiser to present an original innovative concept during the main event under the theme « Inspiration Metropolis ». The « silent disco » concept, put forward by Sennheiser, will be presented on a second stage during the Black & Blue main event. For this purpose, SENNHEISER headphones will be lent to the participants, offering three different frequencies giving the choice of three different styles of music from 10 pm to 10 am.
Also, on the Sennheiser stage, the band, LES MUETANTS will do a live show. LES MUETANTS offers a unique electro-jazz experience and specializes in the concept of « silent concerts » for which they compose their specific music. The silent concert means that their music can be heard on the headphones even though they play live. The musicians of LES MUETANTS are: Vergil Sharkya, Martin Auguste, Simon Pagé, Yves Turgeon, David Jespersen and Jacques Kuba Séguin.
As well, on this second stage, all the best Montreal Trance DJs will play to please all trance music fans ! The impressive trance DJ list includes: DJs Michael Chidiac, Scott James, Project Offset, Tomac, kärl k-otik, Hollow Earth, Ross, Dave Nadz, Chris Element and Bloodline.
It’s also near this special musical space that the mythical Fritz Lang movie, METROPOLIS, the inspiration behind this year’s Black & Blue theme, will be presented in its entire version. The music played in the room, as well as the ones on the headphones, will offer different soundtracks to the movie and will allow the participants to choose the one they prefer.
